The woman described in Proverbs 31 is the perfect model of Christian femininity. She succeeds in many roles, such as mother, wife and she is the champion of her home.
However, Proverbs 31 doesn’t contain many of the advice that we should hear as Christian women.
- We have a lot of worth even if we are not someone’s bride.
The Wife of Noble Character’s life as a spouse and mother seems to be delightful in the verses composed about her. But if you’re a twenty-something woman and you’re alone, don’t worry, you are not less of a woman if you are not a wife.
- Women should stick together
Having a solid group of friends can make our lives so much more pleasant and easy. We need other women to help us in times of trouble and celebrate the happy moments in our lives. So when we have the chance to create alliances with our sisters, we must always take it, because there is no better way to receive love and support.
- We have worth even if we are not great at maintaining a home
Every woman is different, we can’t all be housekeepers, or amazing cooks or sometimes we don’t really have the time to do all the work that needs to be done around the house. But that doesn’t mean we can’t provide for our families in million other ways
- We belong in management positions in the church.
The woman from Proverbs 31 is often described as a great helper of people; she always has a way of aiding those in need. However, she is not portrayed as being part of the clerics. That is not the way it should be, women have many wonderful abilities, and their accomplishments should be celebrated by the church.
- Women are defenders of fairness and kindness.
We all should learn a lesson from the Proverbs 31 woman. She is always ready to support those who are underprivileged. Women can do so much more though, we have a loud voice and it’s time to use it for the greater good.
- In order to succeed in everything, it is vital that we have a close relationship with God.
There isn’t a lot to learn about a woman’s connection with the divine from Proverbs 31. She is described as an enlightened and dignified woman, but that’s about it. It’s more about instructing men about how to find an appropriate bride.
